Sessy is made with the Christian woman's sensuality in mind.

For years I'd listened to and participated in many conversations with women regarding their fears and insecurities around sex and their bodies. It was heartbreaking to hear so many women either recount stories of feeling, trapped, lost, or dissatisfied within their own skin and sex lives or anticipating those feelings as they think about the future. The more I thought about these conversations, the more I realized the pitfalls of treating the gospel and sex-positive narratives as incompatible instead of complementary.

(I mean, God invented sex, so why is there all this fear, negativity, and confusion around it?)

So here at Sessy, we have two main goals:

1. We aim to reconcile women to their bodies because for years we've allowed ourselves to demonize the parts of us that make us unique - that remind us of our humanness, things that God called good.

2. To educate. We believe the relational rifts we are seeing in society stem from intrapersonal rifts. That is to say, a lack of understanding within ourselves begets a lack of understanding of others and our engagements with them. 

So we believe that even with a basic understanding of sex, relationships, and anatomy we can help people heal and foster healthy relationships.
